I get headaches for a few reasons. Caffeine withdrawal, because I have the most enormous mug of coffee in the morning and sometimes one in the afternoon. Dehydration, because sometimes I’m so exhausted I pass out the moment I become horizontal and then I don’t drink for 12+ hours. Stress…probably.

However, I’ve definitely started getting them more often since I developed fibromyalgia. They last for two or three days at a time, usually make me feel vaguely queasy and are generally just very annoying. Painkillers sometimes help, but quite often you’ll see me poking at various spots on my head and face in case there’s a magic pressure point that will alleviate it. Although mine (thankfully) aren’t bad enough to be debilitating, some people do get awful migraine-esque headaches that cause all sorts of problems.
